SC Acquits Death Penalty Convict for Prosecution’s Failure to Prove Case beyond Reasonable Doubt - (17 Jul 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has acquitted a death penalty convict on the ground that the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. The Court stated that when human lives are at stake and the cost is blood, the matter needs to be dealt with utmost sincerity.
