SC: Rehabilitation of Property Owners Not Necessary in All Cases of Land Acquisition - (17 Jul 2025)

LAND ACQUISITION

SC has observed that it is not necessary that in all cases of land acquisition rehabilitation of the property owners is a must. Any beneficial measures taken by the Govt. should be guided only by humanitarian considerations of fairness and equity towards the landowners.
