J&K HC: In Cases Involving Narco-Terror Links, Cannot Grant Bail Merely Due to Delay in Trial - (15 Jul 2025)

CRIMINAL

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has observed that in cases under the UA(P) Act, 1967 and NDPS Act, 1985 delay in trial or long incarceration alone is not enough to grant bail as these laws apply especially when the offence involves terrorism or narco-terrorism.
