Allahabad HC: Undressing Woman but Failing to Commit Intercourse Amounts to ‘Attempt to Rape’ - (02 Jul 2025)

CRIMINAL

Allahabad High Court has observed that undressing a woman to commit intercourse but failing to do so due to her protest falls under the ambit of “attempt to rape” under Section 376 read with Section 511 of the IPC, 1860.
