SC Proposes Laying Down Guidelines for Grant of OBC Certificates to Children of Single Mothers - (24 Jun 2025)

Supreme Court has proposed laying down guidelines for grant of Other Backward Classes (OBC) certificates to children of single mothers as issuance of certificate on the basis of paternal blood relative causes grave hardship to single mothers.
