Madras HC: Pistol Whipping Will Not Attract Arms Act - (11 Jul 2016)

Madras HC has held that using a licensed pistol not to open fire but only to assault opponent with its butt would not attract any of the offences listed under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959.
