SC: Res Judicata Applies to Impleadment Proceedings Under Order I Rule 10 of the CPC - (26 May 2025)

CIVIL

Supreme Court while stating that the principle of res judicata applies to impleadment proceedings, has held that if a party has been given an opportunity to raise objections regarding impleadment or non-impleadment and it failed to do so, the same objection cannot be raised at a later stage.
