SC Issues Directions for Reforming Appointment and Functioning of Consumer Commissions - (22 May 2025)

CONSUMER

SC has directed Centre to file an affidavit regarding feasibility of a permanent adjudicatory forum for consumer disputes, either in the form of a Consumer Tribunal or a Consumer Court which shall consist of permanent members, including both staff and the Presiding officers.
