SC Issues Direction to Centre and State for Effective Implementation of DV Act - (21 May 2025)

Supreme Court has issued a set of directions to the Centre, State and Union Territories regarding the effective implementation of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (DV Act) and directed the appointment of protection officers across India.
