SC: Inclusion of Name in Draft NRC Cannot Annul Foreigners Tribunal’s Declaration as Non-Citizen - (20 May 2025)

CONSTITUTION

Supreme Court has held that merely because a person’s name has been included in the draft National Register of Citizenship (“NRC”) will not invalidate Foreigners Tribunal’s declaration that the person is a 'foreigner' under the Foreigners Act, 1946.
