SC: Complete Absence of Motive May Lend Credence to Plea of Insanity - (30 Apr 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while reducing the sentence of a woman convicted of killing her daughters, has observed that a complete absence of any kind of motive which ordinarily impels a person to commit such a crime may lend credence to the plea of insanity.
