Rajasthan HC: State Must Evolve Mechanism to Monitor Functioning of Municipal Bodies - (29 Apr 2025)

Rajasthan HC has observed that if State lacks a mechanism to monitor and supervise functioning of its Municipal Council/Board it must establish one. A High-Powered Committee should be constituted to oversee activities of each Municipal Council to ensure compliance of the mandatory legal provisions.
