SC: Can’t Revive Time-Barred Service Dispute by Making a Belated Representation - (28 Apr 2025)

SERVICE

SC has observed that by filing a belated representation a time-barred service dispute cannot be brought within the limitation period as per the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. If a Government servant is aggrieved by denial of a benefit then representation must be filed within a reasonable time.
