SC: High Court Should be Cautious While Quashing FIRs of Economic Offences - (28 Apr 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while refusing to quash FIR against a company involved in economic offences, has stated that economic offences by their very nature stand on different footing than other offences and have wider ramifications. Thus, Courts must exercise caution while quashing such FIRs at early stage.
