Bombay HC: Government Allottee Lacking Legal Occupation Can’t be Considered ‘Deemed Tenant’ - (25 Apr 2025)

TENANCY

Bombay High Court has observed that if a ‘Government Allottee’ lacks legal occupation or possession of a property under the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 then he cannot be considered as a deemed tenant under Section 27 of the Act.
