SC: Judicial Intervention Legitimate Only if Language in Deed is Ambiguous - (10 Apr 2025)

CONTRACT

Supreme Court has observed that in a deed or a contract, judicial intervention is legitimate only when the language of the deed or contract is ambiguous. It added that the contract is first constructed in its plain, ordinary and literal meaning.
