SC Expresses Displeasure at Instances of UP Police Turning Civil Disputes Being into Criminal Dispute - (08 Apr 2025)

Supreme Court has expressed displeasure at the act of UP Police turning civil disputes into criminal cases. The Court termed it as a 'complete breakdown of the Rule of Law' and warned of imposition of costs on the State of UP.
