J&K HC: Can’t Put Accused under Prev. Detention Only because His Release Affects Public Confidence - (07 Apr 2025)

CRIMINAL

Jammu and Kashmir High Court has held that an accused who has secured bail cannot be put under preventive detention merely on the ground that his release will have an impact upon public confidence.
