SC Passes Order Imposing Year Long Ban on Firecrackers in Delhi NCR - (04 Apr 2025)

ENVIRONMENT

SC has passed an order imposing ban of one year on the use, manufacture, sale and storage of firecrackers in the Delhi-National Capital Region. The Court observed that right to health is an essential part of Article 21 of the Constitution of India so is right to live in a pollution-free atmosphere.
