SC: Police Officers Constitutionally Bound to Protect Freedom of Expression - (31 Mar 2025)

CONSTITUTION

Supreme Court has emphasized that police officers have a duty to abide by Constitution and respect its ideas as part of State under Article 12 of the Constitution. It further added that they are bound to honour and uphold freedom of speech and expression conferred on all citizens.
