SC: Appointing Authority’s Approval Not Required for Initiating Disciplinary Action - (31 Mar 2025)

SERVICE

The Supreme Court, after referring to Article 311(1) of the Constitution has clarified that while appointing authority's approval is necessary for dismissal, it is not required for initiating disciplinary action against Government Employee under this Article.
