Delhi HC: Clause of Exclusive Jurisdiction to Prevail if it Expressly Covers Arbitration Proceedings - (21 Mar 2025)

ARBITRATION

Delhi HC has observed that if an agreement contains one clause designating the arbitral seat, and another conferring exclusive jurisdiction on courts located elsewhere then disputes relating to arbitration would lie only before the Court having territorial jurisdiction over the arbitral seat.
