SC: Beneficiary Can’t Transfer Land Acquired By Govt. to Original Owner Through Private Agreement - (21 Mar 2025)

LAND ACQUISITION

Supreme Court has observed that if the Government acquires land through its sovereign power of eminent domain then the beneficiary cannot transfer the land to the original owner through private agreements.
