CBEC reduces requirements for registering as first stage dealer and importer- (Ministry of Finance ) (28 Jun 2016)

Excise

The Central Board of Excise and Customs specified requirements for those seeking to register as a first stage dealer and importer.

A person registered as first stage dealer shall not be required to register as an importer, and vice versa.
