MP HC: Compelling the Wife to Discontinue Her Studies Amounts to Cruelty - (10 Mar 2025)

MP HC has observed that compelling the wife to discontinue her studies is equivalent to destroying her dreams in the beginning of their marital life and certainly amounts to mental cruelty constituting a ground of divorce under section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
