SC: Filing of Fresh Bail Application after its Rejection or Cancellation is Right of Accused - (17 Feb 2025)

CRIMINAL

SC has observed that filing of a fresh bail application, once an earlier one has been rejected, or if granted and thereafter cancelled, is a matter of right and the HC cannot dismiss the same, solely on the ground that the Apex Court had not permitted the filing of a fresh application.
