SC: Informing Relatives of Arrestee about Arrest Isn’t Compliance of Mandate under Article 22(1) - (10 Feb 2025)

Supreme Court has clarified that communication of the grounds of arrest to the relative of the arrestee is no compliance with the mandate of Article 22(1) of the Constitution of India.
