Supreme Court: For Conviction, Disclosure Statements Alone are Insufficient - (31 Jan 2025)

LAW OF EVIDENCE

Supreme Court has stated that disclosure statement under Section 27 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 is not sufficient to prove guilt of the accused if unaccompanied by supporting evidence.
