SC Relaxes Conditions for Appointment of Ad Hoc Judges in High Courts - (31 Jan 2025)

SERVICE

Supreme Court has relaxed the conditions for appointment of ad-hoc judges in High Courts after considering the high rise in the pendency of cases. The Court stated that the vacancies need not be more than 20% for such appointment.
