SC Reserves Judgment in Petition Challenging Section 5(4) of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 - (30 Jan 2025)

Supreme Court has reserved its judgment in a petition challenging Section 5(4) of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 which states that a woman who adopts a child is entitled to maternity benefit only if the child is less than three months in age.
