SC Quashes Workplace Harassment Case for Transforming it from Civil Dispute into Criminal Matter - (27 Jan 2025)

Supreme Court while quashing workplace harassment case against a female employee, has noted that there was an attempt to reclassify the nature of the proceedings from non-cognizable to cognizable or to transform a civil dispute into a criminal matter.
