Kar. HC: Proceedings Initiated after Death of Assessee Can’t be Continued against LRs - (24 Jan 2025)

DIRECT TAXATION

Karnataka High Court has stated that proceedings initiated by the department against the assessee after his death cannot be continued against the legal representatives of the deceased Assessee.
