Mad. HC: Court Has to Independently Deal With Bail Application on its Own Merits - (23 Jan 2025)

CRIMINAL

Madras High Court has held that the Courts cannot keep the bail application of an accused pending to enable the concerned authority to pass a detention order. The Court has to independently deal with the bail application on its own merits.
