Supreme Court while hearing an appeal by Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) against order of Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), has upheld the MCD’s power to issue tariff-based bids in Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects under the Electricity Act, 2003.
