SC: Can Raise Plea of Hardship Only if it was Unforeseeable at time of Formation of Contract - (23 Dec 2024)

CONTRACT

Supreme Court has observed that the ground of 'hardship' in performing the contract can be raised by the defendant only if it is established that the hardship was unforeseeable at the time of entering into the contract.
