SC Urges Parliament to Secure Right of Survivorship of Tribal Women - (20 Dec 2024)

Supreme Court while dismissing an appeal that challenged grant of property rights to a tribal woman, has urged the Parliament to come up with ways for securing right of survivorship of tribal women by amending Hindu Succession Act, 1956 if necessary.
