Cal HC: No Criminal Intimidation if Purchaser of Property Requests Tenant to Vacate or Face Eviction - (18 Dec 2024)

Calcutta High Court while quashing a criminal intimidation case by tenants, has observed that the purchaser of a property requesting the tenants to vacate the property or face eviction does not fulfill the ingredients of criminal intimidation under Section 506 of IPC.
