Lok Sabha Passes the Disaster Management (Amendment) Bill, 2024 - (13 Dec 2024)

Lok Sabha has passed the Disaster Management (Amendment) Bill, 2024 seeking to amend the Disaster Management Act, 2005. This bill aims at strengthening the working and functioning of national and State disaster management authorities.
