Lok Sabha Passes the Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2024 - (12 Dec 2024)

Lok Sabha has passed the Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2024 which seeks to amend the Railways Act, 1989. The bill aims at enhancing the functioning and independence of Railway Board.
