SC Refers to Larger Bench Conflicting Interpretation Surrounding Sections 14(1) & 14(2) of HSA - (11 Dec 2024)

Supreme Court while dealing with conflicting interpretation surrounding Sections 14(1) & 14(2) of Hindu Succession Act, 1956, has referred the matter to a larger bench for restating the law on the interplay between the sub-sections.
