Can Consider Raising Money Through Optional Convertible Debentures as Financial Debt - (10 Dec 2024)

INSOLVENCY

New Delhi bench has held that if money is raised by issuance of convertible debentures with an option to be later converted into equity shares then it can be classified as a financial debt if a default is committed by the corporate debtor.
