CBDT Notifies Tax Exemption to Startups from 'Rigour' of Section 56(2)(viib) of Income Tax Act - (20 Jun 2016)

Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has notified tax exemption on investments above fair market rate for startups. The exemption is provided to startups from the 'rigour' of section 56(2)(viib) of Income Tax Act .
