Orissa HC: Permanent Committee Can’t Withhold Candidature Without Submitting Names to Full Court - (20 Sep 2024)

Orissa High Court has held that the Permanent Committee constituted for designation of Senior Advocates does not have the authority to restrict submissions to only those names meeting a specified cut-off score, or to withhold, eliminate, or defer any candidate's name.
