SC: Can’t Reject Election Petition at Threshold When there is Compliance of Provisions of RP Act - (16 Sep 2024)

ELECTION

Supreme Court has held that an Election Petition should not be rejected at the very threshold when it discloses a cause of action and there is substantial compliance of the requirements provided under provisions of Representation of the People Act, 1951.
