SC: Can’t Consider Resignation Final Unless its Acceptance is Communicated to the Employee - (16 Sep 2024)

SERVICE

Supreme Court while allowing the reinstatement of an employee, has observed that internal communication regarding acceptance of resignation cannot be considered as acceptance of the resignation letter. Until such acceptance is communicated to the employee, resignation cannot be said to be accepted.
