Rights of Mutation: Del. HC Initiates Suo Motu PIL Over Lack of Policies for Mutation of Property - (06 Sep 2024)

Delhi High Court while initiating a suo motu PIL on the issue of absence of any policy regarding mutation of village properties notified as urbanized, has stated that the absence of a documentation mechanism by land-owning agencies post-urbanization disproportionately affects the urban poor.
