Violation of SC Order: SC Accepts Magistrate's Apology; Imposes Fine on Police Officer - (03 Sep 2024)

CRIMINAL

The Supreme Court has accepted the unconditional apology of the Magistrate and imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000 on the Police Officer, for the arrest and remand of an accused in violation of SC order granting him interim anticipatory bail.
