Bom. HC: Can’t Deny Citizenship to Child Just Because Parents Give up their Citizenship - (30 Aug 2024)

CONSTITUTION

Bombay High Court has held that the acquisition of a foreign nationality by the child's mother who is a single parent, will not affect the citizenship status of the child. The child cannot be left ‘stateless.’
