Bombay High Court: Girl Eloping With Paramour Can’t be Booked for Cheating by Groom - (29 Aug 2024)

CRIMINAL

Bombay HC while quashing a FIR against a girl accused of cheating, has held that a girl who elopes with her paramour before marrying the groom cannot be booked for the offence as there is no whiff of any dishonesty or intention to deceive.
