SC: Recording of Confession by Medical Officer When Accused in Police Custody, Hit by S. 26 of IEA - (09 Aug 2024)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has set aside the conviction of accused in a murder case on the ground that the confessions by the accused are ex-facie inadmissible in evidence for the simple reason that the accused persons were presented at the hospital by the police officers after having been arrested in the case.
